Thank you BBW...I have to say that I was hesitant about becoming a member. I am so glad I did. I wasn't a member long when Billy808 sent me a smile and he won my heart. I never thought I would find true love again. Boy was I
wrong. Billy808 is in Pittsburg and I'm in Jersey but it hasn't stopped us. We talk every night and we have made the six hour trip to be together. Soon my love will be moving to the Jersey shore where we can be together forever. I have never been so happy and so in love I love you baby. Thanks again BBW. And ladies and gents hang in there. There is hope.

Thanks so much to BBW for sending me an angel!! IrishLibra was the first woman I sent a smile to and when I received one in return, I had to become a member. Since then I've travelled to Jersey to see her and she's come to Pittsburgh to be with me. We are so truly, madly, deeply in love, it's inspiring to others. Kudos to Karen & the staff for having such a great site to meet others. BBW has the best success stories and now I'm blessed to be part of a great one. I've told all my family & friends about your site too. Somewhere in the stars, the names "Billy" and "Shannon" have been united forever. But it wouldn't have ever happened, if it weren't for the world's greatest dating site. Thanks for posting our favorite photo together--that means alot to us. He was made for me, and I was made for him.
I met my baby in November of last year. (2005) And we plan to be married as soon as we possibly can. I have never been so sure of anything in my whole life and as hard at it is, I will never give up. :) He is my destiny. You see, he lives far away from me, but, as much as I miss him, I know we are meant to be.

Everyone has a story, so who cares about mine. But believe me I have suffered trials and tribulations too, like many of you. I never thought I would find true love. But I hoped….and I kept hoping…
I HOPED I would meet “him” but I never EXPECTED to….then he said “Hello”….
And, I love him. I adore him. I can’t wait to be his wife. He makes me feel like I am the most beautiful woman in the world….because he actually thinks I am. J

We met in 11/05 on this site and although we knew from the beginning we would get married he finally got down on his knee in Jan '07 and I said (of course) YES!!
Everyone at work is jealous of my beautiful ring ;)
I never really believed someone would love me the way he does, and accept me the way I am. I cannot thank BBW enough for allowing me to meet the only man I have ever loved. It would have NEVER happened otherwise. Unconditional love DOES exist. That is no small thing!
We have not set a date yet, although we plan for it to be within this year...I will update then as well!
I want everyone who reads this to never give up hope. It took me a LONG time, but I found him. Don't give up!!

When justaoldhippy and I started chatting, we had this instant click. From day one it has felt like we have known each other all of our lives, and when we decided after 2 months of chatting and talking on the phone, that it was time for us to get together. So for my birthday I flew to Alabama and spent 9 days with him. When we saw each other at the airport our eyes lit up and we grabbed each other and just stood there hugging and kissing like it was meant to be. The whole time I was there visiting, it was so natural like we been a couple forever. I am leaving again to Alabama on May 30th and staying for 2 months. If all goes well in the 2 months (which we know it will without any doubt), I will be moving to Alabama in October to start our new life. BBW Personals, we both THANK YOU for giving us the chance to find the true love of our lives. Thanks Again

Just so you know, the happy ending to our story is: I am now living in Huntsville Alabama with justanoldhippy..aka Mike Kincer. We are very very happy and planning on getting married in a year.

Married on 10th December, 2005!
I have been on this site for a couple of years now. I've made a couple of good friends on here.
I had left the site, but in a last moment of romanticism, I came back on and did one more search. As soon as I saw his face I knew that I had to meet him. I sent him a smile first of all and he sent one back fairly promptly. We live fairly close so arranged to meet up the following Saturday. By the end of the date we knew this was it. There was a week to go by before our next meeting, in the meantime we texted and called and sent each other notes and letters. At the end of the 2nd date we knew for sure and he got down on one knee and proposed! Our first date was 5th November, 2005 and "tinysiren" and I were married on 10th December, 2005! Thank you to everyone at BBWPersonals plus. Don't ever give up looking for that special person.

I had been on the site for well over a year and had made some friends, met one nice guy who Id stayed in touch with over a year but nothing had come of it. I then met someone through friends. We dated for a few months with me thinking 'this is it'. On paper he had ticked all the right boxes, similar likes and dislikes, enjoyed similar interests etc but it just wasnt to be. Then in October I decided to try bbwpersonals plus just one last time. I did a search for someone local. I dont really have a type but I put in a few basics, taller than me etc I even said Id look at 'smokers', didnt want to miss the chance of meeting the right man.
It only gave me a few choices and tinysiren was the first one. I just took one look at his face and my heart did a flip, I just had to meet him. I sent him a message saying that Id like to meet him and he replied pretty much straightaway, I think he was online as well. As we lived so close to each other [10mins train ride] we thought it would be silly to write first, might as well meet up and see how it goes. We made a date for the following week at 2pm. We exchanged cell/mobile phone numbers in case we got lost or were late or something, gave each other descriptions of ourselves and that was it.
The train pulled up at the station and the train door opened right in front of where he was sat waiting for me. He has said it was amazing that the door opened and I was just stood there like magic!
We smiled at each other and went for a coffee. I dont remember having to make any effort to be with him, it was so comfortable, like we'd known each other a long time. Then we went for a walk along the beachfront [too breezy and windy to do anything but freeze to death!] We sat down on a bench and I asked if I could put my arm in his [corny I know, but I was freezing to death].
We then went for a drink in a local pub. Bearing in mind this was supposed to be a lunch time date it was now 7pm. We carried on talking. Then we made our way back to Newcastle for my last bus back. it was now 11pm and you would think we were twins being torn apart by this time. He took a couple of photos of me with his phone and we said goodnight, arranging to see each other the following saturday.
I was doing my best to be cool but when I got on the bus I cried a bit.
That was the longest week ever! He went to Oxford to a music gig and sent me a postcard saying how much he missed me [I couldnt believe that was true!]. When he got back next day he sent me three cd's of music, one was of different artists so that I could get an idea of what he liked, the other two were of music he'd written himself [he is a professional vocalist and song writer with his own band. I couldnt wait till saturday and neither could he. I met him at Durham Station and we went for a walk and talk, get to know each other more and a way of finding out if what we felt about each other was for real.
By the end of the second date we knew. He got down on one knee and proposed [this was 5th November 2005 and on 10th December 2005 in front of two friends acting as witnesses, we got married.

We have just celebrated our first anniversary [on the 10th of December] and had a lovely day out to the place where we had our first date, very romantic.

I have met my someone.
Within one day of logging on for the first time and completing my profile, I got a couple of smiles. I replied back to the first one (the one who most interested me and to whom I was the most attracted). Well, its been 10 days and we have since talked, met, and well, I'm deeply in like and am sure that I have met my someone. Thank you to whomever created this site, I have never felt so much promise and hope for what I'm sure will be my future relationship. He's AWESOME!!!:-)
