She had my heart from the start
We will always be indebted to BBWP for providing the means by which we were brought together. Our Story began on March 13, 2007 with a basic smile. Beth sent an innocent smile to me. When I first looked at her profile I saw the statement, "Hi. My name is Beth." I was at once mystified by the simple statement and intrigued by her enchanting smile and her pretty eyes. I knew at once that I wanted to know more about this mesmerizing woman. Beth later told me that she was motivated to send the smile because she has always had an affinity for red hair and a "cute" smile.
I thought I answered her smile the day I received it. I was, however, mistaken. On march 15th I found in my mail box a note asking why I had not replied. At once I answered with a smile of my own as well as a letter answering some of the things she had written and asking a few questions of my own. That night we spoke on the phone for the first time. Lo and behold, her voice was as captivating as were her messages. On March 16th I knew I wanted to do something to cause me to stand out to her, after all, I surmised, a woman like this must be sought after by many. So I called and ordered her the nicest flowers I could afford. I have been told that this little token had the desired effect.
Beth and I messaged and talked daily. The more we learned of each other the more we wanted to learn. There was one major problem. I lived 100 miles west of Saint Louis, MO and she made her home in San Antonio, TX. We were separated by about 950 miles. In the course of our conversations I learned that Beth was not looking for a temporary, long distance, relationship and that she is not a very patient person when it comes to the progress of a relationship. What a dilemma!
I knew I had to do something to see her live and in person or I would forfeit any chance I might have with her. I was scheduled to attend a work related seminar in Memphis which started on March 31. This was the only opportunity I could see to meet Beth. On April 1st I decided to skip the rest of the seminar and drove to San Antonio. The first time we embraced I knew this is where I wanted to spend the rest of my days. For four days, which, to me, seemed little more than four hours, we talked and laughed and got to know one another better. She had my heart from the start and could have had all my being at a word. I suppose that is why on Thursday, April 5th, I suggested that we make a trip to Las Vegas. Of course Beth, being the wiser of the two, told me she didn't think it would be a prudent move and also informed me that she did have some commitment issues.
During our days together we found that we felt very comfortable with each other and discussed details of our lives that had scarcely been voiced before to anyone. I waited till the last possible minute before starting my 18 hour trek back to my Missouri home. I was miserable. I felt so very alone. Beth tells me that she missed me too.
Upon my return to Missouri we continued to converse as often as possible. I was bound and determined to help our feelings grow. A couple of weeks after our initial meeting Beth informed me that her commitment issues were quickly being resolved. I had to see her again. Both day and night Beth was on my mind. I suggested that she fly to Saint Louis and we could spend a few more days together. The arrangement were made. After many days of feeling as though half my being were missing Beth flew to Missouri on May 17th. I had planned to take her on a riverboat cruse on the Mississippi River but due to flooding that was made impossible, so we looked at some of the Saint Louis sights. After driving for a bit we stopped at the Fireman's Memorial. It was there that I officially proposed to Beth, 9 weeks and two days after that first BBWP smile. Much to my delight Beth agreed to become my wife. We set December 31, 2007 as our wedding day. The following Sunday Beth was somewhat surprised when I had our engagement announced at the church where I attend.
Within two weeks of our engagement Beth learned that due to some serious health concerns she was going to have to be hospitalized for treatment. I decided I could not bear the thought of her facing the treatment alone so I received permission from my employer to travel to SA. I was able to be with Beth throughout her hospitalization. We were able to spend about 10 days in almost constant company. What a sad day when we had to part.
Soon we had made plans to meet again. My daughter was scheduled to be married in a northern state on June 30. We decided that Beth would fly to Saint Louis and then we would drive to the wedding and then spend about a month together before I used vacation time to drive her home to Texas. We had a wonderful trip to the wedding where Beth got to meet all of my children. They liked her at once. On the return from the wedding we visited the town in which I grew up and saw some of my favorite tourist attractions. The days flew by and were filled with great joy.
On July 9th, we decided that we didn't want to wait till December 31st to be married. Since Beth already had her wedding dress and we had the rings we spent a very busy week preparing to be married. Our nuptials were exchanged on July 15th with Beth's best friend, who just happens to reside in Missouri, as her maid of honor and my son as my best man. We now live in Texas, and I have never been so sure of anything as I am that I became the most fortunate man in the world when the dearest of women became my beautiful bride. And to think, it all started with a little smile. Thank you BBWP!!!!

She holds the key to my heart.
I met this wonderful women and we talked on BBW for some time. We knew where each other lived and so one day, I went to the Starbucks near her location and continued chatting with her online. She asked if I would consider meeting her sometime for coffee and I responded saying that I was already at Starbucks near her location. She was so excited that she came to Starbucks and we had coffee and then went for dinner. Later she offered to drive me home and I accepted the offer. After many weeks of going out on dates with her, we finally knew that we had a strong connection between the two of us and that we hit it off from the start. She was the reason I signed up on BBW, for I was so interested in chatting with her. We are so happy together, for she has fulfilled my soul and holds the key to my heart. I would totally recommend this site to anyone, for it has led me to finding someone who I feel a strong binding with. Thank you BBW!

Its been almost a year and its been great. I never thought a website could ever bring me so much happiness, but it has. My girlfriend, Stephanie, and I have even talked about moving in together. We went to a moon store to find our moon stones and what our moons looked like when we were born. Come to find out, our moons were the same. They were almost full, but then we asked what our moons were like when we first met and they were also full. Because of this, we both knew from that day forward that we complete each other. I love her with all my heart and everything is great. Thanks BBW! I give my recommendations for this site and to those interested.

Johnny & I have been chatting online and on the phone for 14 months after sending smiles to one another. Recently we actually started dating and havent' been apart since. He has dropped his profile & I have dropped mine. My 2 yr old daughter started calling him "Daddy" all on her own. Shocked us all! Well, John and I got married 7/19/08. This was really special because we were both born on 7/19/68, so we got married on our 40th birthdays! It was amazing! Our theme was "Spu Mates...40 yrs in the making!" Everyone gets along so well. My mom loves his family. His family loves my family. Our kids love one another and get along great. In fact, my daughter and his sang together at our wedding as we lit the unity candle. My girlfriends love him and he loves them as well. We couldn't ask for anything more perfect! Thanks!

Everyday I grew more and more attached!
In February 2007 I received a "Smile" from the cutest guy with big, "Lyle Lovette" hair and beautiful blue eyes. In a few weeks we progressed to phone calls, with our first lasting almost 3 hours! We've talked every day, many times a day, since. I've been in school and wasn't sure I was looking for a relationship, but his calls became a most welcomed constant in my life, and everyday I grew more and more attached! We met in June and he asked me to marry him just last weekend (July)!! I'll be finished with school in September and will be relocating to Austin to start our new life together.

Worthy of all my love
I was lonely and after eighteen years of bad marriage I wanted to have a nice life. I met her through here and She was a hot lady. We would talk for hours each day through emails and IM's and then on the phone. It was a great way to learn about each other and make a great connection. The way she talked and how she felt about things in her life just made me want to know her more. After two weeks of knowing her online I just had to see her in person. I made a trip up to see her and drove over 1000 miles. I returned to settle my affairs and I moved up to where she lived. Now that is three times traveling that same road. She is a terrific person and worthy of all my love. We are getting married in July. What a great way to meet a woman.
