Well, this is the part where I try to convince you that I'm different, that I'm not like any other guy you will meet. I could be right or I could be wrong. However, instead of trying to sell myself to you I'll just list some facts about me and let you decide for yourself:
-I was born and raised in Chicago for a portion of my life. My family moved here when I was 15 and I haven't been back since. I've grown rather fond of the west coast and sincerely hope to settle down here.
-I worked as a computer tech for five years, which means I worked with computers on a daily basis. Some would assume that this translates into "socially inept" or "awkward" as would be the case of SNL's Nick Burns/the stereotypical "computer tech guy". Well, I *am* awkward, but not socially inept. I can hold a conversation AND remove that nasty virus from your computer.
-I sometimes take on too many person projects. I dabble in writing and music and stick with projects until I get distracted...which means I may have anything from 3-5 going on at the same time. Currently I'm working on two stories (humanistic sci-fi) and just getting back into a tiiiiiiny bit of music production.
-I'm a movie buff. I enjoy discussing films as well, dissecting them and sharing my thoughts about them with others.
-I camped out for Episode One. Yes, I know - it was a waste of time. However, I was 19 at the time and I lived in a small town where there was, seriously, nothing better to do.
-I was a band geek in high school and have played several instruments, including percussion, trumpet, piano and guitar.
-One of my favorite spots in the world - the peak of Mt. Scott (on the rim of Crater Lake)
-I like Guinness. Yes, I know, it's the beer you drink with a spoon.
So there's that. If you want more, just ask. Thanks for reading.
