My introduction
I surround myself with a wonderful group of long time friends and share my home with my much loved dog and cat. I'm mom to my 36 year old son and his wife and grandma to two dear grandsons age 5 and 2 and love being a part of their family.
I taught Kindergarten/First for over 30 years and have been retired for 5. These past retirement years have been filled with being "granny nanny" to my grandsons, but now I am fully retired and looking forward to new adventures and meeting new people to enjoy.
I am generally cheerful, friendly and outgoing. I love eating out, music, especially classical and jazz, reading, gardening (limited now to a little deck of my apartment, travel, opera and some theater. I also like to reach out and find ways to help less fortunate folks living in my city. I care about people, the earth, water and all living things and try to live carefully so that my living creates as little negative impact as possible.
