My introduction
I'm a laid back librarian, a nerd with eclectic tastes, and a romantic. I listen attentively, I never lose my temper and I always respect others' feelings. I'm generally sensitive and try to avoid conflict.
Although I'm rather shy and introverted in public, I do possess a well-rounded sense of humor, and I'm able to laugh at myself. I'm just not quick on my feet or very comfortable when it comes to socializing. But I'm open to broadening my experiences and wouldn't mind being taken out of my comfort zone.
I'm an eclectic person with many interests and quirks. My favorite movie is "The Princess Bride". I have a strong scholarly interest in music history. WWII, philosophy, and paranormal stuff interests me. I'm just as comfortable watching AMC's "Breaking Bad" as I am "Downton Abbey".
I am a serious music lover, having a BA in Music and being an amateur pianist. I'm also a dilettante of the fine arts, savoring above all the 19th and early 20th century art movements like symbolism and expressionism. I am an avid reader of literature, mostly sterner stuff like decadence, existentialism, and gothic horror. But even if I prefer Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Baudelaire, I've read and enjoyed every book by Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters.
