Life is quite a ride! It's been an incredible journey with lots of peaks and a couple of valleys that ultimately had a positive influence on me. I've come to believe that you're not defined by what happens to you in life, but by what you do about it. I'm definitely young at heart! Now, if I could just get the rest of my body to believe that, I'd be golden! I've been told that my hair makes me look much younger than my true years, and I'm sooo thankful for that!:-) Thank goodness laughter is one of the best medicines for the soul because I've had to become pretty good at laughing at myself these days. Seems I do a lot of "funny" things unintentionally. Luckily, I don't remember them for long...one of the biggest benefits of being my age! My sense of humor can be sarcastic (but only in a playful way) and off-the-wall at times, so I need to be with someone who enjoys, or at least tolerates, that part of me :-)
I've learned to appreciate the simple things most, For me, healthy relationships with a special partner, family, and friends are the most important things in life. And so, I'm searching for an amazing emotional, intellectual, and physical connection with someone (GREAT chemistry in all respects). Maybe that's too idealistic, but I have only one life, so why should I settle for anything less?
