Hello! I am a Christian woman who is passionate, loyal, sincere & genuine, direct & honest, who loves animals and nature, music (as both a participant and a spectator), good wine and cooking for those I love.
At this time, I am a full-time student, pursuing an AA in Music, with the goal of transferring to a university to pursue a double major of Communicative Disorders and Music Therapy.
I believe that life should be lived to its fullest each day & that happiness is found when we look beyond ourselves, to who we can help and what we can give to/do for others. I have done the "career for money" thing, and realized that it left me empty and unfulfilled, which is why I have thrown it all away and headed back to school, to do something that I feel compelled to do, something that will allow me to help improve the lives of others. What this means...right now, finances are very tight, but I still try to enjoy myself - simple pleasures. Also, my "free time" is quite limited, but I am willing to make time for the right person.
I do enjoy nicer things, but am content with what I have. I live in a beautiful town where the arts are celebrated and there are many quiet & nice things to enjoy. (Nothing beats a walk on the beach at sunset - as long as you have a good sweater!)
For the first time in my life, I am comfortable in my own skin. I am truly happy just the way I am. I am working on becoming healthier, and believe that I would be so a few sizes smaller, but I will never be "thin" or "skinny" - just not in my genetic makeup. I love a good book, a good movie and a good meal...a good cup of coffee or a nice glass of wine rank pretty high on the list as well. o)
A few of my favorite quotes really sum up a lot about me and how I think:
"Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting."
"Whatever you do for yourself dies with you whatever you do for others lives on."
"It's not just a daydream if you decide to make it your life."
"Be careful what you wish for...you just might get it."
"Integrity: doing the right thing - even when you are alone."
"For most of us it is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that our aim is too low and we hit it."
I am looking for an honest, intelligent, Christian man, with a great sense of humor, who considers himself at least mildly adventurous. Someone who is passionate and considerate, thoughtful and at least somewhat romantic. Someone who appreciates/enjoys great food and wine and a good cup of coffee. Thank you for reading! I wish you the best in finding someone special.
